Promats® Athletics is well-known for their padding and mats, but do you offer any other products?

We also offer everything from field goal posts, portable pitching mounds, batting tunnels and much more. NETTING SYSTEMS QUESTIONS
What’s the difference between UltraCross® with knotless Dyneema® and other netting options (aramid or nylon)?
Our Ultra Cross® Braided Dyneema® netting offers functionality and durability superior to our competitors. The braided configuration of the rope is the strongest available and the knotless feature increases visibility for fans, while decreasing wind load and potential damage.
DIGITAL GRAPHICS QUESTIONS
What are your printing capabilities? Can you print on windscreen and padding?
Yes, we offer high resolution digital printing on both windscreen and padding in addition to other vinyl products.
What is the best format for submitting digital artwork for custom vinyl printing?
Vector-based artwork in Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or Encapsulated PostScript (.eps) format are preferred. In some cases, we are able to work with other formats, which you can read about by clicking HERE.
Can Promats® make vinyl padding that matches our school / team’s Pantone (PMS) color?
Yes, we have a wide variety of colors to choose from, but also have the ability to match your school / team color exactly. Once we’ve received your color specifications, we’ll make a sample film and send it to you for approval before production.
What is GREENGUARD Certification?
UL Environment's GREENGUARD Certification program helps manufacturers create -- and helps buyers identify and trust -- interior products and materials that have low chemical emissions, improving the quality of the air in which the products are used. All certified products must meet stringent emissions standards based on established chemical exposure criteria.
What is the best way to measure wall padding?
Always start from one side of the room and measure from the same point. If you are measuring a wall with a cutout you will need four (4) measurements for each cutout. You will need to make Promats® Athletics aware of any cove base or molding that is on the wall. Please note that on most jobs, field modifications might be needed.
What is the recommended height of an indoor wall pad?
There is no real recommendation for the height of a wall pad. The standard size for a High School Gymnasium is six feet high. Promats® Athletics recommends that if different age groups are participating in activities you use eight foot high pads. Custom sizes are always available. Just ask your customer service representative.
What is the recommended length of wall padding for a gymnasium?
Promats® Athletics always recommends that you cover all exposed walls. This will help prevent injuries from occurring in areas you might not think they would. This also will depend on the location of you walls in relations to the end line of the basketball court.
What is process of replacing the vinyl on padding if it gets ripped during play or we change sponsors?
We save our customer's graphics, so if vinyl gets ripped, we can easily re-print it and send it out as soon as possible. If your sponsorship changes during the season, you will need to send us a vector image file with the new artwork. Once we've received that, we will make a mock-up for your approval and print the vinyl when you "ok" it. Promats® has relationships with installers across the country, so we will provide you with options for installation. Our installers are also willing to teach someone at your sports facility how to properly wrap a graphic pad, so that in a pinch, you can switch the vinyl on your own.
